Got a job interview today for "senior .Net developer". I did pretty well but failed to get the job. For the reason that I am not "senior" enough. How can they tell how senior I am? One thing, what’s the most sophisticated you worked on, and what’s the role you were playing.
As a result, I should change my way somehow for future job hunting.
First, no more aim to "senior" jobs for now, I just don’t have that project to convince people.
Secondly, keep looking for jobs that work on huge products in terms of the level of complexity, even though I can only play a small role in that, still good for future career development.

I was doing programming for the past 10+ years, solid hands-on experience. To tell the truth, I had no trouble to survive if I got the job today. I just don’t have a convincing team project to back me up, which can only be done in a group of a well invested software company. (that’s the position I am looking forward to getting on)But don’t get me wrong, the rejection was quite reasonable and acceptable. I said I am able to survive, but not perform. The latter is the kind of people they are really looking for. 尽人事，随天意。
well I know u’ve those experience, but for ppl don’t know u, they want sth that’s concrete that they could convice their staff, supervisors & themselves, as u said…btw, do u konw how to get credits transferred to York from another institution? guess I better call, hmm I would, once that @#!$%#$ presentation is done…
