ERD Commander 2003 allows you to access and repair otherwise unbootable
    systems in a familiar, Windows XP-like environment. ERD Commander 2003
      provides flexible diagnostic and troubleshooting tools to help you
  determine why a system will not boot and powerful repair tools to correct
                          a wide range of problems.
  For installation, ERD Commander 2003 requires a bootable CD-ROM drive and
                   one of the following operating systems:
                                – Windows NT 4
                                – Windows 2000
                                 – Windows XP
                            – Windows Server 2003
  A CD-R or CD-RW drive and software to make a bootable CD from an ISO image
                               are recommended.
  Once the ERD Commander 2003 windowing environment has started you may use
     the diagnostic and repair tools, accessible directly from the Start
  button, to troubleshoot and repair the dead system or to move files to or
   from the system. The following built-in utilities are specially designed
                     for the pre-boot repair environment:
